John Braun for Congress (WA-03) Tops $500,000 in Donations

Huge Support Since Announcing Candidacy August 12th

CHEHALIS, WA – Republican John Braun’s Congressional campaign announced today that it would show more than $500,000 in donations, with more than 95% of contributions from Washington state donors on its first quarterly fundraising report. Braun announced his candidacy August 12th, and the report to be filed with the Federal Elections Commission will cover all contributions through September 30th.

“We’re off to a great start,” said Braun. “I’m grateful to the people from all over Southwest Washington who’ve already answered the call and are volunteering their time and energy to this campaign.”

A U.S. Navy veteran, citizen legislator and president of Braun Northwest, a family-owned manufacturer of emergency vehicles that provides 350 jobs in the region, Braun brings decades of leadership experience in the military, public service and business.

“It’s clear – Southwest Washington wants a Representative who won’t just talk about the problems we face, but will get to work solving them,” said Campaign Manager Max Lavey. “John Braun will prioritize public safety, affordability and good jobs, and he has a track record of accomplishments that show he’ll get the job done.”

In September, the campaign held successful events in Vancouver, Longview and Chehalis. Braun will campaign throughout the district over the next 13 months.

“I look forward to meeting and learning from as many people in Southwest Washington as I can,” said Braun. “Serving in Congress is an honor, and I will work hard every day to earn your support.”
